Duobed Furniture Liability Warranty

Duobed Furniture warrants our products to be free of manufacturing defects in materials, finishing and workmanship under normal use in a commercial or residential setting for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original invoice. This warranty does not apply to any item that is damaged due to misuse, negligence, improper cleaning or stain prevention materials, beverages, humidity, alteration, abuse, accident, or abnormal use. Products sold by Duobed Furniture that are not included in our original invoice are not covered under our warranty. Any modification to product included in this invoice is considered custom and excluded from warranty. We do not warrant product designs submitted from third parties and are not responsible for any defects resulting from such design. During the one year of this period, we will repair free of charge, any product covered under warranty that has failed due to a manufacturing defect. Normal softening and flattening of foam and fibers is not considered a defect. The item must remain upholstered in its original fabric to be covered by this warranty. This warranty only covers workmanship and labor; it does not apply to any COM/COL fabrics or other materials provided by the customer or any other vendors regardless of how Duobed Furniture manufactured or otherwise used those fabrics and/or materials in the manufacture of the purchase product(s). Duobed Furniture will cover replacement hardware for 3 years.

To obtain service under this warranty, defects must be reported to Duobed Furniture within the warrant period in writing or email accompanied with a copy of the original receipt or invoice.

Duobed Furniture will not be responsible for damages in excess of the price paid for the product in question and will not, under any circumstance, be responsible for incidental or consequential damages, even if it had reason to know of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Duobed Furniture be liable or responsible for any lost profits or any amounts other than the repair or replacement of the products covered herein, with the determination of whether repair or replacement is the proper remedy to be based on the terms of this warranty and Duobed Furniture sole discretion.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties of the limitation of damages, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you. In the event the warranty exclusions do not apply to you, then, where legally permissible, such implied warranties are limited in duration to the stated warranty period and no warranties apply after that period. In circumstances in which the warranty provided herein does not apply, the products involved are, where legally permissible, still subject to the above disclaimer of implied warranties and the above limitation of damages. This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product.

If any damages occur during shipment, this warranty is void and unenforceable if such damages are not documented and reported within 48 hours of receipt of the purchased products.
